The gemiusDirectEffect (Plus) research of Gemius S.A. is a solution for direct advertisers and agencies to get extensive infomration about the efficiency of online ad campaigns. The solution is developed and supported by AdOcean Ltd. You can read more about the research on this page.

The research utilizes cookie technology to be able to count the number of unique users who were exposed to online campaigns, to gather statistics on the type of operating systems and browsers that they use and also to rotate ads on the same set of placements according to a particular logic.

Cookies are not used to store any personally-identifiable information via gemiusDirectEffect (Plus) and AdOcean Ltd. guarantees the complete anonymity of all data gathered on behalf of our clients. Data gathered during the research process will not be shown − in either partial or complete form − to any third parties.

AdOcean Ltd. is aware of the fact that some users do not want to let ad servers save any information at all about their exposure to different online campaigns in cookie files.

To avoid storing any data in cookies, one can block acceptance of cookies for a certain web site or all web sites in the preferences of the browser. As an alternative solution, it is also possible to store a special cookie in the browser that will block the gemiusDirectEffect (Plus) system from storing any other information in cookies, in a particular browser profile.
